Enhanced device performance of organic solar cells containing semiconducting polythiophene derivatives with alkylthiophene side chain. |
초록 |
We report the semiconducting polythiophene derivatives with decylthiophenyl side chains, PDTQT for use in organic solar cells. The morphology and structure of the polymer:PCBM blend films were investigated by employing after annealed, by using Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, and the optical and electrical properties were characterized with UV-vis spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). We have substituted thiophene at side chains to prevent polymer self-assembly and has side chain conjugation. As a result, the polymer revealed lower HOMO level to lead to air stability and showed efficient charge transport and high performance for organic photovoltaic cells. We achieved the high Voc solar cells ; 0.91eV which is much larger than that of P3HT by employing the concept that the difference between the HOMO level of donor and the LUMO level of acceptor has linear relationship with Voc. |
