Silver and Gold-Silver Magnetic Beads Introduced Silica-coating |

We have developed thiol-modified silica coated magnetic beads that introduced novel metal (gold and silver) (TM-bead) and described their optical property. Total six different types of TM-bead were prepared by follows: First, silver was growth by AgNO3 reduction onto TM-bead (TM-Bead@AgG) or Ag NPs was decorated onto TM-Bead (TM-bead@Ag). Likewise, gold was introduced by reduction and decoration onto TM-Bead@AgG or TM-bead@Ag. The nanoparticle were reported their properties by a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). According to the results, TM-bead NPs were faithful and reliable for those types of metal based materials. The TM-beads can be plasmonic tunable magnetic beads in materials and chemical, bio applications. |
