제목 Preparation of silica-silver nanocomposite particles using alcohol reduction method
초록 Silica-silver heterogeneous nanocomposite particles were prepared using alcohol reduction method. The size of silver particle on silica was influenced by PVP concentration, reducing agent and functionalizing agent. Thiol group were employed to make a binding between silver nanoparticle and silica surface. The range of silica particle size is from 25 to 50. Also, the silver nanoparticles with a size of ~ 8 nm in diameter were formed at the surface of silica particles. The silver particle size increased upon increasing the PVP concentration and reducing agent. But, increasing the functionalizing agent had an effect on decreasing the silver particle size. To understand their mechanism of formation, we used TEM, SEM, XPS and XRD to monitor the stabilities and size of the silica-silver nanocomposite particles.
