| 초록 | Two-phase cultures of Taxus cuspidata were performed using silicone cubes as asecond phase in shake flasks for paclitaxel production. Among various taxanes, paclitaxelwas selectively adsorbed on the silicon cubes. When silicone cubes were added tosuspension culture of Taxus cuspidata, paclitaxel production increased about 45 folds.The maximum paclitaxel production was 3.95 mg/L when 10% of silicone cubes wereadded to the culture at 7th day from inoculation. |
