Bilayer Organic Photovoltaics Utilizing Polymer/fullerene Heterojunction with Large Interfacial Area |
초록 |
The organic photovoltaics (OPV) based on conjugated polymer and fullerene utilizes bulk heterojunction (BHJ) type photoactive layer. The BHJ system shows efficient exciton dissociation efficiency due to large heterojunction area. However, delicate controls of the processing conditions are needed to obtain the interpenetrated nano-scale phase separation. The bilayer heterojunction (BL-HJ) of electron donating polymer and electron accepting fullerene derivative can be utilized for OPV as it is also used in inorganic solar cells. We have resolved two essential problems for the bilayer organic solar cells: fabricating the bilayer using the solution process and forming nano-scale heterojunction with large surface area. In this presentation fabrication and properties of bilayer OPVs based on the polymer/fullerene heterojunction will be discussed. |
