제목 Poly(trimethyl terephthalate) /Poly(ether imide) 블랜드의 결정 모폴로지 제어
초록 In this study, the misciblility, morphology and crystallization behavior of melt-blended poly(trimethyl terephthalate) (PTT)/poly(ether imide) (PEI) blends have been investigated using, polarized optical microscopy (POM), small angle light scattering (SALS), small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). PTT/PEI blends are miscible over the whole composition range based on single Tg of these blends. The various crystalline morphology were developed as a function of the composition and the crystallization temperature. In this blends system, crystal growth rate significantly decreased with increasing the PEI content because of larger amount of the PEI molecules diffused out from interlamellar region to the interspherulite region. The presence of PEI in the blend increased the Tg, which restricted the molecular mobility and restrained the migration of PTT segments to the crystallite-melt interface. At the early stage of the spherulite growth, well-ordered lamellar superstructure was formed, As these spherulite with well-ordered lamellar superstructure grow, PEI components were excluded from the inner spherulite. Therefore, the local blend compositions in the spherulite interface largely increase and lead to the random lamellar aggregation. As a result, PTT/PEI blend system indicated the spherulite with spectrum of the lamellar ordering that lowered from the origin of the spherulite to the radius direction. Moreover, the lamellar parameter change of lower lamellar ordered spherulite of SAXS represents the PEI component mainly exsists in interfibrilar region.
