Double-layered scaffolds with fibrous and inner porous layer were characterized regarding mechanical properties and porosity, morphology and blood leakage testing. In order to study fibrous structure by polymer solution spinning, PLCL gel- spining method was used. Fibrous scaffolds were fabricated following randomized test conditions by changing several main factors such as the gel concentration, volume and flow rate of PLCL solution. For analysis on both fibrous and porous inner layer, double-layered scaffolds were fabricated in the two steps using salt-leaching and PLCL gel-like solution spinning. The morphology of pores and their networks varied with the salt weight ratio and humidity. On the basis of this study, a novel machinery device controlling fabrication conditions easily can be applied to develop various tubular scaffolds for vascular tissue engineering. |
