The organic solar cell has been drawing attention due to the cost-effectiveness of solution process and the excellent mechanical flexibility. To prepare organic solar cells in large area, the stamping transfer has been considered as an attractive process. In this work, we fabricated poly({4,8-bis[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene-2,6-diyl}{3-fluoro-2-[(2-ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4-b]thiophenediyl}):[6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PTB7:PC71BM) based solar cells via stamping transfer with polyurethane acrylate (PUA) stamp. With optimized surface energy of the PUA stamp, the bulk heterojunction (BHJ) layer was uniformly transferred onto poly-(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) layer. An additional vacuum treatment was needed to successfully transfer BHJ layer with 1,8-diiodooctane (DIO) additive. As a result, stamping transferred BHJ devices has shown comparable power conversion efficiency with those made by spin coating process. |
