Synthesis of Star-Shaped Small Molecules for OPVs |
초록 |
Organic bulk heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic cells fabricated from small molecules have received increasing attention because of the enhanced crystallinity, reproducibillity, and solubility in organic solvents. In this study, we synthesized solution processable star-shaped small molecules to improve optoelectronic properties. We named it as TTD. Both TTD1 and TTD2 contain triphenylamine (TPA) as electron-donating moiety and diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) as electron-withdrawing moiety. They are separated by thiophene π-bridge. Difference between TTD1 and TTD2 is using two different types of alkyl chains on the N-N positions of the DPP. TPA core makes star-shaped material. DPP-based chromophores are used as high-performance organic pigments. DPP desivatives have high charge carrier mobilities in organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells. The TTD solution has a broad absorption band extending from 250 to 750 nm. |
