Inspection on Catalytic Properties of Manganese Oxide Surfaces Enhanced via Supercritical CO2 Extraction for Low-Temperature NOX Reduction |
초록 |
Manganese oxides deployed for NH3-assisted NOX reduction require additional improvements in the circumvention of by-products’ formation (N2O and NO2) and the tolerance against SO2 poisons at low temperatures (≤ 300 oC). In this regard, supercritical CO2 extraction (SC-CO2) medium can serve to tune the catalytic traits of manganese oxides. SC-CO2 medium was reported to be highly diffusive into and miscible with synthetic solvents, thereby being expected to avoid surface deformation and/or disruption caused by conventional removal of synthetic solvents. In this presentation, we highlight ‘how to promote manganese oxide surfaces with the use of SC-CO2 medium’ via mechanistic and kinetic investigation and control reaction runs. |
