제목 | Supercritical extraction of lipid from Scenedesmus sp. microalgae for the production of biodiesel. |
초록 | The rapid increase of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere combined with depleted supplies of fossil fuels has led to an increased commercial interest in renewable fuels. Due to their high biomass productivity, rapid lipid accumulation, and ability to survive in saline water, microalgae have been identified as promising feedstocks for the production of biodiesel. In this study, we compared the lipid yield of supercritical fluid extraction with that of conventional organic solvent extraction for biodiesel production. The characterization of extracted lipid was investigated using various analytical techniques, including GC-MS, FT-IR, and ICP-AES, and the results were compared.
