Structural design of nanocatalysts has been proven to be the most effective method to enhance their catalytic activity and stability. Considerable attention has been devoted to dispersing nanocatalysts onto matrices to improve the stability and activity of nanocatalysts. Direct design for surface structures of nanocatalysts has been considered to tune the physicochemical properties of nanocatalysts. In our previous study, we demonstrated that needlelike and less reactive surfaces of catalysts could be one of good surface designs to enhance the stability and activity of catalysts. Herein, we report optimized surface design of heterogeneous catalysts based on polyelectrolyte brushes and Au catalysts. |
