제목 Preparation and optical properties of TiO2 coating film
초록 Titanium dioxide(TiO2) coating films have widely been used as protecting film, hydrophilicity film, self-cleaning film in the optical panel. In this study, we used various fillers like titania, and modified titania to control surface hydrophilic for coating film and measured the film optical properties such as transmittance, haze, contact angle, and UV-shielding ability. The characterization of coating film by contact angle analysis gives different hydrophilicity on the films surface depending on UV-resin/TiO2 ratio. UV-shielding ability is enhanced up to 98% as increasing TiO2 concentration. Hydrophilicity measured by contact angle show various trend depending upon UV-resin type and UV-resin/TiO2 ratio. Contact angle was observed below 10 o when using very hydrophilic resin or 3/7 ratio of UV-resin/TiO2.
