제목 Thermal Conductivity of Nylon Nanocomposite Containing Surface-modified Carbon Nanotubes
초록 Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have brought considerable attention to a wide range of science and technology since their discovery. Due to their superior mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical properties, it is expected to substitute a variety of classical materials. In this study, carbon nanotubes were oxidized and used in the fabrication of nylon nanocomposite via in-situ polymerization. The nanocomposites were examined in terms of mechanical properties, degree of dispersion, and thermal conductivity. The result shows that the thermal conductivity of CNT-containing nylon nanocomposites was much improved.
