Polydiacetylene(PDA) is attracting considerable attention in the field of optical sensors due to its simple synthesis method and unique color characteristics. The PDA particles are formed by photo polymerizing a self-assembled Diacetylene monomer through 254 nm ultraviolet light. PDA particles have unique properties that change color when a specific temperature is applied. Heat is generated in the process of trapping PDA particles with Optical laser tweezers, at which time, research on color changes of PDA particles was actively conducted. In this study, color change was measured through red value analysis by trapping particles at a temperature critical point where color change does not occur using Optical laser tweezers and Hotstage. Furthermore, we conduct a study on the observation of color change when chain bending is formed. These PDA particles can beused as temperature sensors at individual particle levels. |
