제목 | 고분자량 PET 섬유의 방사 및 연신 조건에 따른 기계적 물성과 복굴절 간의 상관관계 연구 |
초록 | In this study, mechanical and structural properties of high molecular weight PET (Poly(ethylene terephthalate)) fiber which fabricated by melt-spinning process was investigated. Before the melt-spinning, high molecular weight PET resin was dried at 130oC for 30 h in N2 atmosphere to remove the moisture. The temperature of spinning process varied from 300oC to 450oC and take-up speed was 200 m/min. Draw ratio of high molecular weight PET melt spun fibers was up to 6.2 at 180oC. Mechanical and structural properties of high molecular weight PET fibers were investigated by tensile strength test, birefringence. As a result, the higher the draw ratio of PET fiber, the higher the birefringence and tenacity, and the PET fibers have maximum birefringence and tenacity of 0.2 and 9.48 g/d, respectively. |
