제목 Synthesis of regenerable absorbents containing amidine groups for carbon dioxide capture
초록 Amidines are known to react with carbon dioxide in the presence of water or alcohol to form amidium bicarbonate salts. The carbonated amidine can be reverted to the decarbonated form by heating and exposure to nitrogen flow. In this study, we focused on synthesizing and designing several amidine derivatives for carbon dioxide capture. Several amidines were synthesized by reaction of N,N-dimethylalkylamide dimethyl acetal with monoamine, diamine, and tetraamine, respectively. The carbon dioxide capture and release property of several amidine derivatives and their mixtures with other amines were studied by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy.
