Optimization of CeO2 amount on the catalyst for gasoline application |

With the increasing number of automotive vehicles, the concern of global air pollution is becoming more serious. In this reason, automotive OEM focused on control internal combustion along with enhancement of exhaust catalyst. In case of automotive catalyst manufacturers focused functional improvement of components such as oxygen storage components, high thermal durability components, high surface materials, scavengers and perovskite. Despite their efforts, Oxygen Storage Capacity [OSC] is the dominant on catalytic activity for NOx emission. In this study, The Ceria ratio of each layer was High/Lower variation as 2:1, 1:1 and 1:2. Different ratio of OSC materials impregnated catalyst was tested on Engine bench with thermal aged parts. Thermal aging was conducted by oxidation and reduction condition at 1,050 ℃ related to ULEV70. |
