Characterization of erithritol/the expanded graphite composites for a high thermal storage material |
초록 |
Erithritol/ the expanded Graphite composites for phase change materials (PCM) were prepared. The expanded graphites were added into erithritol melting solution in order to study the effect of various interlayer distances of the expanded graphite as supplement on the thermal properties of the PCM composite. The interlayer distance of the expanded graphite was calculated using Bragg’s law, and the structure of the PCM composite was characterized using scanning electron microscopy. The thermal properties of the PCM composite were determined using thermal conductivity measurement and differential scanning calorimetry. The results revealed that the thermal conductivity and the phase change enthalphy increased with increasing the interlayer distance of the expanded graphite. |
