제목 | Synthesis of CN-substituted dibenzofuran with high triplet energy as efficient blue TADF host through lowest unoccupied molecular orbital control |
초록 | A total of three n-type host materials were synthesized by adjusting the CN-substitution to dibenzofuran in the molecule structure based on dicyanocarbazole, benzonitrile, and dibenzofuran moieties. Depending on the controlled CN-uint attached to dibenzofuran, the three molecules have different lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) distribution and these materials, which have a wide LUMO distribution as the number of CN-unit increases, have improved electron transport property and these are used as an n-type host in a mixed host blue thermally-activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) organic light emitting diode device system. In addition, these three host materials form a twisted molecular structure and have a high triplet energy of more than 3.0 eV. Two molecules that introduced CN-unit showed high EQE (19.3%) and 20% improvement in lifetime due to good electron transport property in blue TADF device, in line with the intention to have a wide LUMO distribution. |
