제목 Fabrication of microporous thin-film composite membrane based on thermal rearrangement of polyurea network
초록 We prepared a microporous thin-film composite (TFC) membrane utilizing thermal rearrangement of polyurea network. A colloidal dispersion of urea-bonded network nanoparticles was produced via crosslinking polymerization of tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)methane (TAPM) and 1,6-hexamethylenediisocyanate (HDI). The TFC membrane was obtained as the sol was passed through a porous support membrane. The thin polyurea network layer foamed on the porous support through concentration polarization induced gelation of sol. The TFC membrane was heated above 250℃, where the urea bond was rearranged with generation of micropores. The resulting thermally rearranged polyurea network TFC membrane was characterized for morphological structures and studied for gas separation performances.
