제목 Fabrication of clickable janus Si particle
초록 Si particles are common material to use as various applications including drug delivery system and bio-paints. In this work, we demonstrate Janus Si particle which could introduce two unlike substances simultaneously. We control size of the Si particles with uniformly and surface functionalized with amine group at the entire sphere of particle first. And secondly, plated the half side of sphere with gold via plasma sputter. Tailored janus Si particle has amine side and gold side at the concurrently. We proceed simple fluorescence experiment to prove it. Even though there are several simple coupling reaction, we choose thiocyanate at the FITC to introduce green fluorescence at the amine side of Si particle. Moreover, we introduce DNA at the gold side to confirm janus Si particle.
