제목 Enhanced and Tunable Side Chain Using Benzodithiophene and Thiophene in Polymer Solar Cells
초록 Polymer solar cells (PSCs) have attracted considerable attention as a promising long-term solution, renewable energy, flexibility and lightweight. Bulk heterojunction(BHJ) solar cells, with an active layer comprising an interpenetrating network of conjugated polymers and fullerene derivatives, have been extensively studied and display the highest efficiencies to date in PSCs. Benzodithiophene(BDT) unit is attractive due to its compact planar structure that could be beneficial to the electron delocalization and improve mobility into various conjugated polymers. 2D Thiophene spacer was introduced in polymer side chain for increasing charge transporting property and π-conjugation length. In this study, we synthesized 2D BDT copolymer and investigated their PSCs property.
