Polymeric micelles have inherent and modifiable properties for suitable for transdermal delivery system. This study attempts to investigate the permeability of active materials that is supplemented with novel hybrid polymeric micelles comprised of two block copolymers in order to enhance penetration in the skin. For this, two triblock copolymers, which are poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(ɛ-caprolactone)-b-poly(ethylene glycol) and poly(ethylene glycol)-b-polydimethylsiloxane-b-poly(ethylene glycol), are prepared by urethane polymerization. We optimize the suitable size and significant stability of polymeric micelles by changing the mixing ratio between two block copolymers, which show remarkable permeation performance of skin layers as well as excellent stability. |
