Design of Transferrine-Conjugated Nanoparticles forCancer Targeting |

To develop highly water-soluble and less toxic paclitaxel analogues, we designed and synthesized polymeric drug of paclitaxel(PX), polyethylene glycol(PEG) transferrin(TF) (TFPXPEG). The TFPXPEG was synthesized by reaction of PXPEG copolymer and TF. TFPXPEG was prepared by chemical reaction PXPEG and TF for targeted drug delivery system. The structure was investigated by FT-IR and ¹H-NMR, particle formation was confirmed to become by TEM and ELS-8000. The polymeric drug provides an alternative approach for formulation of poorly soluble drugs. TFPXPEG polymeric drugs showed comparable cytotoxicity as paclitaxel in KB cell and HepG2 cells. It was carried out cytotoxicity and anticancer activate experiment. Furthermore, these findings suggest that the combination of targeted drug carrier for cancer therapy. |
