Radical Scavenging of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Nanosheets immobilized in alginate hydrogel microparticles |

Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have recently received a lot of attention because they exhibit thickness- and composition-dependent properties. In this work, we immobilized TMD nanosheets into calcium alginate hydrogel microparticles and then investigated their optical properties in the gel matrix. Furthermore, we analyzed the concentration-dependent antioxidation activity and recyclability by using radical scavenging assay. Finally, we propose that the TMD nanosheets-immobilized hydrogel microparticles are truly useful for exploring new biomolecular applications in the fields of dermatology and cosmetics. |
