Ethylene Oligomerization with Chromium Phenylene-Bridged PNP Catalytic System |

The selective trimerization of ethylene becomes a subject of much interest due to the increasing demand of 1-hexene as the comonomer in the production of LLDPE. McGuinness and coworkers reported that tridentate PNP and SNS systems showed the high selectivity of 1-hexene and good activity. In this work, we synthesized novel chromium phenylene-bridged PNP complexes and investigated their ethylene oligomerization behavior. |
