제목 Numerical study of triple phase boundary effect on Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell
초록  A solid oxide electrolyzer cell (SOEC) is device that produces hydrogen and hydrocarbon for fuel cells by electrolysis of water and/or fossil fuel. The produced gas could be stored and used when needed, thus it makes SOEC candidate for future energy storage system.  
 In SOEC, the triple phase boundary (TPB) of electrode/electrolyte interface has significant effects on electrolysis reactions, and it is related to the particle size and composition of electrode.
 In this work, SOEC is studied by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) based on the finite volume method to investigate the effect of the parameters related to TPB on the cell performance. The results reveal that the electric energy loss is dominantly influenced by particle size, which dramatically increases TPB.
