Intramolecular Epoxidation of γ-Amino-α,β-unsaturated Ester with an N-Hydroperoxymethyl Group and Its High anti-Selectivity |
| 초록 |
As part of an ongoing study on the application of the N-hydroxymethyl group, we now report an application of the N-hydroxymethyl group to a stereoselective epoxidation reaction of α,β-unsaturated ester 1 as shown below. We observed much faster epoxidation under mild conditions to give an anti selective epoxide 2. The reaction time was less than 30 min and the ratio of the anti:syn isomers was more than 20:1.
