제목 Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene with CO2 over TUD-1 type supported Metal Oxide Catalysts
초록 It has been proposed that ethylbenzene could be transformed into styrene via oxidative dehydrogenation by using CO2 as a soft oxidant. In this study, TUD-1 type 3D mesoporous silica was synthesized by using microwave and loaded with ceria and vanadia to study the effect of CO2 over mixed metal oxided loaded TUD-1 catalysts. CO2 improved the conversion of ethylbenzene and selective formation of styrene monomer by the contribution of CO2 as a soft oxidant, which allowed the longer stability and the less coke formation as well. CO2 seemed to be used for the removal of the formed hydrogen and coke during the reaction through the RWGS and reverse Boudouard reactions.
