제목 Vascularized reconstructed human skin equivalents to enhance the physiological effects
초록 The blood vessels in the human skin structure supplies nutrients from the hypodermis layer to the dermis and epidermis and control the temperature of the skin. In this study, we present a reconstructed skin equivalents with functional blood vessels. The introduction of functional blood vessels into the reconstructed human skin equivalent could be fabricated using 3D bioprinting and be designed and fabricated with various blood vessel structures and shapes into the hypodermis layer. Then, we fabricated dermis layer with fibroblasts on the hypodermis layer with blood vessels and induced angiogenic sprouting. In addition, the formation of the epidermis layer due to the introduction of human epidermal keratinocytes on the dermis layer resulted a full-thickness reconstructed skin equivalents. Overall, this new vascularized reconstructed skin would be used in a sample for alternative animal tests for evaluation of aging, wounds, and blood circulation improvement.
