제목 | Possibility of Utilization of Spent RHDM Catalyst for Commercial SCR Catalyst |
초록 | RHDM(Residual hydrodemetallation) catalyst that removes metals (V, Ni) contained in heavy oil fractions has a short lifetime of about 0.5 to 1 year and become finally deactivated in a state of a lot of V deposited. This study was carried out in order to confirm the application of the spent RHDM catalyst as SCR catalyst by way of proper various treatment conditions. The composition of the spent RHDM catalyst is V-Mo-Ni / γ-Al2O3 while that of the SCR catalyst is V-W / γ-Al2O3. The deposited V and Mo of the spent RHDM catalyst can be acted as a active component and promoter of the SCR catalyst respectively. Remanufacturing processes are composed of oil washing, roasting at high temperature and leaching with oxalic acid solution. After the above remanufacturing process, the treated RHDM catalyst for SCR performance was made by washcoating a slurry on the metal foam substrate. Then the de-NOx performance was conducted with varying temperature and space velocity in a atmospheric micro reactor. |
