Organic photovoltaics(OPVs) have attracted a lot of studies due to many advantages such as lightweight, possibility of flexible device and low cost. However, power conversion efficiency(PCE) of OPVs is lower than that of any other commercialized solar cells. To increase the PCE, holes and electrons efficiently move toward each electrode. However, hole mobility is larger than that of electron in OPVs, so electron transport layer(ETL) was introduced into OPVs to balance the charge mobility. Water/alcohol soluble anthracene derivatives have a high electron affinity and prevents the interfacial mixing between photo active layer and ETL. In this study, we fabricated OPV devices with water soluble anthracene derivatives as ETL. As a result, PCE of the device was enhanced. |
