Patterning of gold nanoparticles on polyimide film was carried out by microcontact printing of γ-APS monolayer, followed by deposition of gold nanoparticles and subsequent sintering. First, polyimide coated silicone wafer was subjected to water plasma etching to introduce hydroxyl groups. Then, γ-APS ink solution in toluene, prepared in a dry nitrogen-filled glove box, was spin-coated on patterned PDMS stamp, followed by microcontact printing on the polyimide film. Thirdly, the sample was immersed alternatively into gold nanoparticle solution and poly (allylamine hydrochloride) solutions for multilayer coating. After low temperature sintering, gold pattern was characterized by FE-SEM, alpha-step and 4-point probe. |
