제목 | Synthesis and Properties of a Fluorine-free Water Repellent |
초록 | Conventionally,as a method of imparting water repellency to textile products and varioussubstrates, there is known a method of preparing a composition made of acopolymer based on a monomer containing a perfluorine compound, and drying thecomposition by immersing or coating the composition in the product. A textileproduct treated with a water repellent containing such a perfluorine compoundexhibits excellent water repellency. However, the water repellent contains aperfluorine compound, so it can exhibit high water repellency, but it causesgreat problems in the environment and the living body due to perfluorooctanoicacid (PFOA), and is subject to regulation due to these problems. Accordingly,in order to solve the environmental hazard problem, the present invention synthesizeda non-fluorine-based water repellent that does not contain a fluorine compoundand studied its properties. |
