제목 Effects of Molecular Weight of Polymer and Interfacial Tension to The Porous Film Structure by Breath Figure
초록 In this study, we investigated the effects of polymer molecular weight (MW) and interfacial tension on final porous structure prepared by breath figure under humid flow condition. Well-defined porous structures were obtained when a high molecular weight PMMA, whereas porous structures were not developed for a low molecular weight. The interfacial tension between water and chloroform was changed by adding different amounts of methanol and hexane. When a proper amount of methanol (water-miscible solvent) was used, well-developed porous structure was observed. However, porous structure formation was not successful prepared when hexane (water-immiscible solvent) was added.
