제목 Stability of the electrohydrodynamic film flowing down an inclined plane
초록 The linear stability of the liquid film flowing down an inclined plane under an effect of electrostatic field have been studied here including with the supercritical region. The electrostatic field is considered as uniform at order unity and depending on the evolutions of the long wave motion. To overcome the problems due to the strong nonlinearity of the electrostatic effects, the approximation by the Taylor series is employed partly into the evolution equation. By using a long wave approximation, we get the critical Reynolds number of linear stability. After all, the stability in the supercritical region is examed.
