제목 Porous Polyelectrolyte Thin Film Coatings for Biochip Application
초록 Developing the methodology of preventing nonspecific interaction of biomolecules and selectively enhancing the detection signal from the target is highly interesting in biological sensor applications. We have studied to make surface coatings for biosensor chips, especially biochips in probe-free biosensors such as SPR biosensor, to get the better liable signals for biomolecular detection. In this approach, we used polyelectrolyte multilayer(PEM) thin films to meet these criteria. PEM films can be easily controlled their properties by tuning the condition in the deposition process. The PEM films were deposited onto the sensor chips directly and examine the surface properties including morphology, wettablity, biomolecular adsorption and so forth. Some of PEM coatings were found to be good for improving sensor signals. We will discuss the biological interactions onto the surface with the surface morphological characteristics.
