Flexible and stable polymeric anode (AnoHIL) for flexible organic device applications |
초록 |
Stable flexible anodes should replace the brittle and expensive indium-tin oxide (ITO) anode in flexible organic electronic devices. Although many approaches have been reported so far, the work functions of the anodes were still low and thus hole injection or extraction in organic devices becomes still problematic. Therefore, work-function-tunable flexible anode should be developed for flexible devices. We developed the polymeric anode (we call AnoHIL) with work function tunability with which an additional hole injection or extraction layer in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic thin film transistors (OTFTs), and organic photovoltaic cells (OPV) is not necessary. We demonstrate that organic devices using our AnoHIL significantly outperform the devices using the conventional anodes. |
