제목 Ferroelectric and Piezoelectric Properties of Solution-Derived P(VDF-TrFE) Thin Films
초록 For flexible electronic and piezoelectric device applications, ferroelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) (P(VDF-TrFE)) co-polymer thin films were fabricated using solution deposition method. Compositional effects on all-trans (TTT) conformation of the poly (vinylidene fluoride) structure by copolymerization with the trifluoroethylene were identified. Dielectric properties under external electric fields and thickness effects on the ferroelectric/piezoelectric properties of the P(VDF-TrFE) thin films were examined and discussed. Based on the decent ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of the 1 μm thick P(VDF-TrFE) (65:35) thin films, anticipated applications of the ferroelectric polymer thin films, such as energy harvesting matrix in micro-scale bio-electronic systems and capacitive component in flexible electronics, are proposed.
