Ag nanowires are one of the promising candidate materials for the fabrication of transparent electrode. They form random two-dimensional networks with high opening areas. As a result, the Ag nanowire transparent electrode exhibits high electric conductivity as well as high optical transparency. However, there exist several problems to overcome: wire stability during the coating process, adhesion to substrate films and haziness of the films. In this presentation, the synthesis and coating process of Ag nanowires will be discussed. Also, the adhesion issue and coating stability will be addresses.
