Purification nano contrasting agents from excess polysorbate 80 by fixed volume continuous dialysis method |

Fusion Research and Development team, Nano Bio Resear Center,JeonnamBioindustry Foundation. Nano contrasting agents for MRI were consisted of Polysorbate 80, oleic acid and ferric oxide. During making this agent, it is not easy to remove unbound residual polysorbate 80 and impurities. Here, we suggest newly designed continuous dialysis method for removal residual impurities including polysorbate 80. Conventional dialysis method usually spends a lot of volume of buffer. Simply designed continuous dialysis method alsoneed excess volume of buffer. However, we could reduce the used volumes as twice as less than comparing to ones in the former method. This method will be more improvement to reduce used buffer volumes cost effectively in dialysis process. |
