Polyaniline/ organosilane hybrid thin films with enhanced adhesion properties |
초록 |
Relatively limited adhesion of conducting polymer on solid substrates attenuate the lifetime of organic electronic devices. In this reason, we have focused on the use of silane agent to improve adhesion between organic polymer and solid substrate. We designed robust ammonium hydroxide sensors with hybridized polyaniline films. Our method have advantages of forming a film with an in-situ polymerization in a single step process. We confirmed the formation of thin films and their nanoparticular morphology by using spectroscopic techniques. This structure can be useful for chemical sensing applications. We also investigated their adhesion by using tape peel-off test. We found that the hybrid films with 67 wt% of silane showed the increase in the sheet resistance by 5.7 % after 5 cycles of peel-off test whereas the pure polyaniline films were detached from the substrate even in the first cycle. This work demonstrates that hybridization is very effective in enhancing their adhesion. |
