Bio-Inspired Hierarchical Multiple-Patterned Plasmonic Nanostructures for Organic Photosensors and Photoimaging Devices |

In this study, to fabricate the high performance and flexible organic photosensors (OPSs) and photoimaging devices (PIDs), we utilized bio-inspired multiple-patterned plasmonic electrodes which exhibited enhanced light absorption compared to flat non-patterned electrode. The photo-responsivities of multiple-patterned OPSs was enhanced from 1.34 AW-1 to 7.86 AW-1 and the threshold driving voltages of multiple-patterned PIDs were reduced over half as compared with flat non-patterned PIDs. Moreover, the flexible 7ⅹ7 PID array could retain the current mapping of laser with stable mechanical stability. Our study demonstrates the first successful integrated plasmonic organic optoelectronic and photo-switchable memory systems for PID. |
