제목 Preparation of mono-dispersed poly(vinylamine)/silica hollow particles and their release behaviors
초록 Poly(vinyl amine)(PVAm)/silica hollow composite particles were prepared by dispersion polymerization and sol-gel process to encapsulate water-soluble materials. The uniform mciro-sized PVAm hollow particles as a substrate were synthesized from the poly(N-vinylfrmamide) particles by hydrolysis on the basic condition. Then silica was coated on the surface of the PVAm hollow particles by sol-gel process. The shape and morphology of PVAm/silica hollow composite particle were investigated by the OM, SEM and TEM. Amine contents and porosity of PVAm/silica hollow composite particles were examined by ninhydrin assey and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) isotherm of sorption/desorption of nitrogen, respectively. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to characterize the surface property of the PVAm/silica hollow composite particles. Loading efficiency and release behavior of water-soluble material were measured by utilizing UV-vis.
