Poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) web for redox capacitor fabricated by electrospinning |
초록 |
Conducting polymers as electrode materials for redox capacitors have several advantages such as low cost, fast charge-discharge kinetics and suitable morphology. The PEDOT web was prepared by in-situ chemical method; 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) as monomer and ferric p-toluenesulfonate (FTS) as oxidant were dispersed in Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix polymer solution. Then PEDOT redox capacitor was fabricated by electrospinning the PEDOT solution on the platinum plate as current collectors. The capacitance properties of the redox capacitor were evaluated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and charge/discharge experiments and the morphology of the web was examined by scanning electronic microscope (SEM). |
