제목 Application to the coal fired power plant of pilot scale photo-catalysts system for removal on gaseouselemental mercury
초록 In preceding experiment, photo-catlayst (TiO2)were tested for its mercury removal efficiency. It was tested on a lab scale photo-catalyst system, and showed >95% mercury removal efficiency. In this study, the pilot scale system was built and installed in the coal-fired power plant to evaluate the possibility of its full-scale application. Continuous elemental mercury analyzers were set up at the inlet and outlet of the photo-catalyst reactor. The removal efficiency of elemental mercury was calculated by measuring the inlet and outlet mercury concentrations. The influence of flue gas components (NOx, SOx, Water vapor, etc.) was compared in various conditions to find the interference factors.
