제목 A novel poly-ester-urethane composites containing functionalized Hollow glass microsphere.
초록 Thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) have many useful properties, including excellent mechanical strength, high elasticity and good oil and grease resistance. The TPUs can be divided in ester type and ether type. The polyester-based urethane has better properties than polyether-based urethane. To enhance the barrier property and mechanical strength of TPU, Hollow glass microspheres (HGMs) was used as filler. HGMs were functionalized with poly-ester-urethane. TPU-grafted hollow glass microspheres (TPU-g-HGM) were synthesized from glycol and methyl diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI). TPU-grafted HGMs were prepared to fabricate a composite that has better interfacial adhesion between the TPU matrix and the HGMs. The strength of the composite increased with increasing TPU-grafted HGMs contents. That is, It confirms that TPU-grafted HGMs/poly-ester-urethane composite exhibited enhanced mechanical strength and reduced swelling ratio as compared to raw HGMs/poly-ester-urethane.
