A Novel Method for Making Titanium and Silica Oxide Nanofibers by Using Electrospinning Method |
초록 |
Titanium and silica oxide nanostructure has attracted considerable attention because of its unique properties and potential applications in mesoscopic research, nanodevices, opto-electronics devices, chromatographic supports with high adsorption capacities. Recently, we found a new method to produce titanium and silica oxide nanofibers (50 ~ 300 nm) by using electrospun fibers of poly(vinyl acetate)(PVAc)/titanium and silica composite as the precursor. This process involved the following step: (1) Preparation of sol with suitable PVAc, titanium isopropoxide and tetraethoxysilane in DMF to achieve a right rheology for electrospinning. (2) Electrospinning of the solution to obtain the nanofibers composite. (3) Calcination of the composite fibers to obtain final oxide fibers. The fiber aggregates were characterized by SEM, IR, XRD, DSC and TGA.
