Electron interception on photoanode with organometallic dyes in Poly(ethylene oxide)-based dye-sensitized solar cells |
초록 |
The solid-state electrolyte based on poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) is much stable relative to the one based on organic solvent. However, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) with PEO-based electrolyte has several drawbacks such as low ionic conductivity and poor contact with photoanode because of its high crystallinity and bulky size. To mitigate these shortcomings, small molecular weight oligomers like poly(ethylene glycol) (PEGDME, MW = 500 g/mol) are introduced to the PEO electrolyte. Herein, three kinds of ruthenium sensitizers having different end groups are applied in the PEO/PEGDME electrolyte for the interface study between the electrolyte and the photoanode. |
